Ötzi’s Brother?

Just when the world was recovering from the shock of Ötzi’s discovery, another iceman in Canada cropped up. Though, unlike our former pal, this one had a handful of tools with him. But here’s the catch. While in the case of Ötzi, we knew very little of his origin, his counterpart’s story was different altogether.

Scientists were not only able to discover the origin of the remains but also seventeen of his living descendants today, owing to their DNA analysis. The examination also revealed that this gentleman might have wandered the earth for over fifty years, an impressive lifespan for the time.
