Shortly after graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Sean Bean had his professional debut in the 1983 play “Romeo and Juliet.” He gained mainstream recognition for his role as Richard Sharpe in the series “Sharpe.” The series ran from 1993 to 1997 and made Bean a prominent name.
He appeared in some of the most successful productions, such as “Game of Thrones” and “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy. He also embarked on a journey as a voice actor and appeared in the video game “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion” and the drama “Canterbury Tales.” Bean received the 2022 Leading Actor Award from the British Academy for his performance in “Time.”
