Miranda Richardson first embarked on her journey in theater. She had her West End debut in the 1981 play “Moving.” In 1987, she received an Olivier Award nomination for the play “A Lie of the Mind.” Eventually, she transitioned to film and television and received her Academy nominations for “Damage” and “Tom & Viv.”
In television, she is best known for appearing in “A Dance to the Music of Time,” “The Lost Prince,” and “Gideon’s Daughter.” Film critics recognized her performance in “Orlando,” often describing her as the greatest actress in any medium.
