Twiggy (Born In 1949) – The Boy Friend
Dame Lesley Lawson, more popularly known as Twiggy, is a British cultural icon and the most prominent figure during the historical swinging ’60s in London. During her peak in the ’60s, she was named The Face of 1966 and has graced the runways of France, Japan, and the United States.
After modeling, Twiggy achieved success onscreen as a stage and television actress. She is best remembered for acting in “The Boy Friend,” which earned her two Golden Globe Awards. She had her own series titled “Twiggy’s People” and sat as a judge on “America’s Next Top Model.” Twiggy entailed her journey in the autobiography “Twiggy in Black and White.”
