Julie Andrews (Born In 1935) – The Sound of Music
It is hard to imagine Hollywood without the legacy of Julie Andrews. She has starred in the all-time classics “The Sound of Music” and Walt Disney’s “Mary Poppins.” Her stint in several musical shows had her the nickname “Britain’s youngest prima donna.”
Andrews has been gracing Hollywood for over seven decades. Her long list of accolades includes the Honorary Golden Lion Award and AFI Life Achievement Award. In 2000, she was made a Dame by Queen Elizabeth II for her services to the performing arts. With such achievement, we can expect Andrews to retire and enjoy. However, she continued to lend her skills and voiced Lady Whistledown in the Netflix series “Bridgerton.”
