Why is This Dog Not Moving?

When faced with an unidentified entity or other animals, mammals like cats and dogs use their noses and snelling senses to identify if their visitor is indeed a friend or a threat. We’ve seen cats get the scare of their lives from paintings, photos, or even their own reflection, and this dog seems to fall victim to a similar ploy.

Looking at another ‘dog’ on the wall, this pup seems to be quite intrigued by the stranger. Unlucky for him, no amount of sniffing can help in this instance because the dog is merely a drawing on the wall. He does deserve an A for his effort, though.
