Strait and Narrow – John Illsley and Jack Sonni Having Fun

When your band leader is Mark Knopfler, then you know all you need to do is sit back and do your job while he does all the leg work. But that doesn’t mean you don’t need to have fun, as John Illsley and Jack Sonni show in the photo of them during Dire Straits’ set.

In fact, that is what Live Aid was all about on a performance front. With certainly no extravagant performances, just bands on stage in the summer sun having a good time for a good cause. It would be surprising if these two were hoping for more than two songs.
