No Pressure – Friends Will Be Friends
When everyone is from the same community, there are bound to be friendships, both pre-existing and actively being made. For Freddie Mercury and David Bowie, the friendship falls in the former category. They, of course, go back to 1981, when they recorded and released the song Under Pressure.
Bowie was initially in the studio to record backing vocals on another Queen song but inspired this one. While many speak about a clash of egos, personalities, and musical styles in the studio, away from it, Mercury and Bowie, in fact, got along like a house on fire. That is proven by this picture of them engaging in conversation.
