Rising Stars – U2 Bring Some Noise

In 1985, U2 was still a rising act. But had already made a name for themselves with their number one charting album War and an ambitious live act that made them popular. This was why they were greeted with booming cheers when they took the stage at Live Aid.

They had to leave Pride (In the Name of Love) off the setlist.
