Robby Benson – 1956
Guess what? The American former teen idol Robby Benson is still active in show business and continues to be one of the best voice actors around. In recent years, he’s been busy working on movies such as “Apple Seed” and collaborating with video games such as “Kingdom Hearts II” and “Kinect Disneyland Adventures.”
To this day, though, Benson’s best known for two things: for starring as a teenage star in ’70s sports movies such as “One on One” and for voicing the character of the ‘Beast’ in the acclaimed animated Walt Disney feature “Beauty and the Beast” (as well as its sequels and spin-offs)
Lorenzo Lamas – 1958
When you think Lorenzo Lamas’ time is gone, he surprises you yet again by coming back. To be fair, this renowned American actor has never left the spotlight and worked in productions as iconic as “Grease,” “Body Rock,” “Falcon Crest,” and “Driver” throughout the years.
In addition to acting, he also starred in “Leave It to Lamas,” a reality show about the day-to-day of his family. Still not thinking about retirement, Lamas is featured in at least two 2022 productions: the TV series “Sons of Thunder” and the action-comedy flick “Team of Two.”
Robert Redford — 1936
To say that Robert Redford is a skilled actor would be an understatement because he is beyond that. The legendary actor is still popularly remembered for portraying the Sundance Kid in the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. He is also a well-off entrepreneur, having founded the Sundance Film Festival.
Redford officially announced his retirement in 2018 and left with a bang after starring in The Old Man & the Gun. These days, he seems to be making a living out of producing. It’s not like he needs more money as he is already worth $200 million at the age of 84.
