If you’ve been around long enough, then you’ve surely enjoyed heaps of movies, TV shows, and songs from the Golden Age of Hollywood up to the ’70s and ’80s. Do you ever wonder what happened to the actors who gave life to your favorite characters and singers who performed the now-nostalgic songs? If the answer is yes, then you’re in the right place.
We have curated a list of 50 stars who are still alive and kicking, and most of them have passed their 70-year milestone. Nonetheless, you’d be surprised to learn who among them are still active in their careers and how much they have got going on in their lives!
Lorenzo Lamas – 1958
When you think Lorenzo Lamas’ time is gone, he surprises you yet again by coming back. To be fair, this renowned American actor has never left the spotlight and worked in productions as iconic as “Grease,” “Body Rock,” “Falcon Crest,” and “Driver” throughout the years.
In addition to acting, he also starred in “Leave It to Lamas,” a reality show about the day-to-day of his family. Still not thinking about retirement, Lamas is featured in at least two 2022 productions: the TV series “Sons of Thunder” and the action-comedy flick “Team of Two.”
Alec Baldwin – 1958
Alec Baldwin first gained attention after appearing on the sixth and seventh seasons of “Knots Landing.” After some supporting roles, he gained international recognition for his performance as Jack Ryan in “The Hunt for Red October.” Since then, he has starred in major production films like “Alice,” “Blue Jasmine,” and “The Aviator.”
It did not stop there, as he received further critical recognition for his excellence in the sitcom “30 Rock.” It made Baldwin the male actor with the most Screen Actors Guild Awards in history. Still pursuing his love for acting, he starred in the 2021 series “Dr. Death.”
Paul Anka – 1941
If you’ve been around for a handful of decades, then you most likely know who Paul Anka is. If not, he is a successful singer, songwriter, and actor who made a fortune of $80 million during his career.
He is 79 years old now but is still remembered for hits like Diana, Lonely Boy, and Put Your Head on My Shoulder—all of which date back to the late ’50s. Anka even co-wrote the song I Never Heard with the “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson. Even though Anka is old in age, he is young by heart because he married for the third time in 2016.
