Kaya Scodelario – Skins

Kaya Rose Scodelario got her big break when she auditioned for a role in “Skins,” a show known for hiring relatively unknown budding teen stars. She won the part of Effy Stonem in 2007 and immediately became a fan favorite. Most cast members were replaced two seasons later, but she was chosen to stay.

While portraying this role and riding on the success of the E4 program, Scodelario began exploring her options. She received offers and went on to enrich her portfolio, now starring in more mature parts such as in the 2022 movie “The King’s Daughter.”
