Larry Bird & Dinah Mattingly – 33 Years

After finalizing his separation from his first wife, Janet Condra, in 1976, former professional basketball player and coach Larry Bird took time before getting hitched again. Not until the early ’80s that he met and started dating celebrity volunteer Dinah Mattingly. The three-time NBA champion and an Olympic gold medalist with the U.S. men’s basketball team married Mattingly in 1989.

Although she’s two years older than him, nothing has come between the three-time NBA Most Valuable Player and NBA executive and his wife. The duo has two adopted children to show for their marriage. Young celebrity couples can learn a thing or two from this more than three-decade blissful union.
